Alzheimer’s & Dementia Organisation Kenya (ADOK) was established in January 2016 by a group of affected caregivers, its main aim was to form a support group with a vision and hope of creating awareness on dementia related diseases. As the awareness of the support group grew, more people across the country sort the support of the organisation. ADOK’s mission is to demystify the belief of what dementia is by creating a society where those living with Dementia are supported, accepted and are able to peacefully live in their communities without fear or prejudice.
